BUY LOCAL Coupon Book Project

Sustainable Cape Ann and Cape Ann Business Incubator have joined
together to create the “Where The Locals Go!” Coupon Book. Our objective
is to encourage Cape Ann residents to support our local economy by
purchasing more of the goods and services they need from locally owned
businesses – ensuring that more of our consumer dollars are circulating
and sustaining Cape Ann Communities. Response to this initiative has been
amazing and to date almost 100 businesses have committed to provide
valuable discounts to community members through the Coupon Book.
Past Events
Clean Energy Fair
Cape Ann Business Incubator had a table at the Clean Energy
Fair on Saturday, October 28th, 9-4 at the GHS Field House. We highlighted businesses that promote clean energy and energy
conservation as well as showing the benefits of buying locally.
Tell us how your business achieves these aims and we will include
you in our directory. Innovative examples include:
- landscaper who strategically plants trees to make use of
solar energy and to cut a/c costs in the home
- bookstore that saves packaging and fuel costs by gathering
orders for many individuals and ordering weekly
- handbag company that reduces the need for paper or plastic
by using recycled materials to make re-usable shopping bags
Talk to us about strategies for taking
advantage of this emerging market opportunity and give your business
an energy boost! |
